What do you mean by 'the six zero standard'?
Juraj Brozovic: The 'six-zero standard' is a clear and uncomplicated educational concept that teaches participants concepts and techniques, from precise suturing techniques to the application of predictable bone augmentation in implantology. The term represents the usual classification of suture thickness used by clinicians and reflects both our high standards and our minimally invasive approach.
How important do you think surgical suture is in terms of both technology and material?
Juraj Brozovic: Both are very important. Of his groundbreaking work, Dr. We know from Rino Burkhardt of Zurich and other authors in the field of microsurgery that gentle approximation of soft tissues leads to significantly better vascularization and more predictable wound healing. Therefore, the choice of suture material is important. We are often taught to think very mechanically, so I see tremendous potential for improvement. For example, in a transplant, special attention is paid to the donor site of the bone and the selection, stabilization and protection of the bone graft with a membrane. Later, when the defect is filled, the closure of the wound does not show the same care.

I believe the greatest benefit is for advanced and serious users looking for simple solutions to make their stitches better and their grafts more predictable.
